I am an avid reader and I enjoy sharing and recommending books to friends, which I do at Goodreads.com. However, I also love movies, and friends were often asking me for recommendations, but I didn't have a place to share them easily. And that is why I created this blog... to share books and movies all in one place.
I don't give plot summaries since those are easily found on other websites, though I try to include a link to a summary from the publisher or author of a book (I usually link to IMDb for movies). My purpose is to share why I enjoyed a book or movie (or didn't), rate it (out of 5 stars), give warnings about any objectionable content, and recommend it (or not) for a specific demographic.
